OJO Labs, Movoto, and OpJet referral programs
OJO Labs (Movoto) was acquired by Realtor.com 2023 and subsequently wound down.
OJO Labs (Movoto) was acquired by Realtor.com 2023 and subsequently wound down. OpJet is a smaller independent referral platform. Both used referral-fee models similar to Opcity, typically 25-35% of GCI.
OJO Labs operated Movoto, a real estate search platform with a referral-fee model where qualified leads were routed to partner agents in exchange for 25-35% of GCI on closed transactions. Realtor.com (Move, Inc.) acquired OJO Labs in 2023; the Movoto consumer brand and OJO's lead-routing technology were folded into Realtor.com's broader concierge operation, with the standalone Movoto agent program wound down through 2024. OpJet (separate from OJO Labs despite name similarity) is a smaller independent platform offering similar concierge-style lead routing at comparable take rates. Agents who were active on Movoto in 2022-2023 typically transitioned to Realtor.com Concierge or other portal programs in 2024-2025. The general lesson: smaller portal-referral platforms come and go on relatively short cycles; agents who built lead flow around a single small platform often face disruption.
