kvCORE, Lofty (formerly Chime), and BoomTown are the integrated-IDX-plus-CRM tier—designed for teams, brokerages, and high-volume solo agents who want consumer-facing site + back-end CRM in one platform. Each has differences worth understanding before signing.
kvCORE (Inside Real Estate). The volume play. Full IDX site, lead capture, mass marketing, smart drip campaigns, behavior-based scoring, team analytics. Price: $499-999/month solo, $1,500-3,000/month for teams (volume-dependent). Strengths: massive feature set, brokerage-tier deployments, behavior-based lead intelligence. Weaknesses: feature bloat—many agents use <30% of capability. Mobile app workflow is less polished than FUB.
Lofty (formerly Chime, rebranded 2023). Mid-market. IDX site, CRM, AI-driven lead routing, social-media integration. Price: $499/month for solo, $999-1,500/month for teams. Strengths: clean UI, faster onboarding than kvCORE, decent automation. Weaknesses: lead-routing AI quality varies; some users report inconsistent scoring.
BoomTown. Enterprise team. The legacy leader for 10+ agent teams. Predictive CRM, lead nurturing, accountability dashboards, deep reporting. Price: $1,000-1,500/month plus $5,000-15,000 setup. Strengths: team-management features, deep reporting, lead accountability tools. Weaknesses: highest cost, longest implementation, less flexible for solo agents.
When to choose what. (1) Solo agent, 25-75 transactions/year, want IDX+CRM bundled: Lofty. (2) Solo agent, 50+ transactions/year, want maximum automation, willing to invest in setup time: kvCORE. (3) Team 5+ agents, 100+ transactions/year, need accountability tools: BoomTown. (4) Solo agent or small team with separate IDX site already: stay with Follow Up Boss.
The lead-source integration question. All three integrate with Zillow Flex, Realtor.com, Facebook Lead Ads. kvCORE has the deepest paid-lead integration (Ylopo, BoldLeads). Lofty has built-in social posting tools. BoomTown's lead-routing rules are the most sophisticated.
What trips agents up. (1) Buying for features used 20% of the time. The platform that captures more leads is the platform with the better consumer-facing site, not the one with more dashboard widgets. (2) Migrating without a 90-day setup plan. Each platform requires 40-80 hours of setup; under-investing here means under-utilization for years. (3) Switching to escape adoption failure. Adoption failure is usually process, not platform.
